About Us

SDRO is the fines division of the Office of State Revenue (OSR).

We are responsible for the receipt and processing of fines issued by various government agencies and authorities, and administering the fine enforcement system for the collection of unpaid fines.

Our authority is outlined in the Fines Act 1996.

Protecting your privacy

Information about you held by the Office of State Revenue (OSR) is protected under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998. In the course of administering NSW revenue laws, OSR collects personal information from you and from other NSW government agencies.

There are state and federal laws to protect the privacy of your personal information and keep the information collected confidential. There are also circumstances where the law authorises disclosure of your information for specific purposes to certain people or organisations.

OSR is bound by these laws and has procedures in place to ensure your privacy is always protected and your personal information is kept confidential
